Lined Plug Valves

Plug valve is a shut-off or plunger-shaped rotary valve. The passage port on the valve plug is connected or separated from the passage port on the valve body by rotating 90 degrees to realize opening or closing. These valves are widely used in oilfield mining, transportation and refining equipment, and are also widely used in petrochemical, chemical, gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and general industries.

Lined plug valve is the plug valve whose chamber or bore and whose runs or port passages are fully lined with corrosion-resistant material, most preferably polytetrafluoroethylene, such valve having recesses in its runs, near their intersection with the bore, into which lining material distended by heat and pressure may creep, and with the valve body defining an internally rounded concave wall or dome at the bottom of the bore.
